So usually we run a policy of what happens on the boat stays on the boat. Though this was just too funny not to share. On this Boat Panama to Colombia.
During our last fabulous trip sailing from Cartagena to Panama we arrive and anchored at this island a little after dark. While some of the passengers were blissfully sleeping.
Shortly before sunrise one of the girls who had been sleeping when we arrive woke Sindry saying; ‘we are heading straight for an island and no one is driving’
Sindry told her that every thing is ok we have stopped traveling.
After while she returned quite concerned saying that the boat was moving and we are going to sail straight into the island.
Little did she realise that the sails had all been packed away. The engine was switched off and the anchor was down. Oops!
Lots of giggles over breakfast and a great day ahead.
The sand may brush off.
The tans may fade and the salt may wash clear.
But the memories will last forever.

We experienced 3 delightful days anchored by the sun kissed, coconut palm lined beaches of our favourite uninhabited islands in paradise. Each day after breakfast we weighed anchor and sailed a short distance to a different island where we swam, explored and relaxed.
Each night after dinner a beach bonfire was enjoyed by all with some choosing to sleep in hammocks under the stars on the island … sensational.
On the second day I gathered firewood and cooked up the famous all you can eat bbq buffet.
A great trip, with a great group of people!
